Scott Forbes - Comedy Biography
Written by Kevin Mccallum

ImagePress Quotes

"Rapid fire natural delivery that reminds me of a young Billy Connolly" (Evening Express)

"Everything he touches turns to gold" (Wendy Ivers)

"Like Frodo, but funny" (The Heckler)

Performance Style
Scotts' exhuberance & flowing train-of-thought humour are married with a steady assurance.  He has a confident, cheeky stage presence & performs hilarious impersonations of the people he meets in every day life.

He speaks with a touch of satire about being served by Orcs in McDonalds, living at home with his parents, his everyday experiences and things that happen at the gig on the night.  Everything he touches turns to comedy dynamite.

Audiences can't fail to love him; with every story he tells, you are washed along on a wave of translucent imagery.  Ten minutes in this boy's company is an imagination vacation.

Biography
Scott has been involved with Comedy Capers for over three years & has established himself on the local comedy scene.  Having done only two gigs, Scott reached the semi-final of the J2O/Jongleurs Last Laugh New Act Competition in 2004.

He has since gigged throughout the UK & joined other promising North East Comedians for a three week run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006.  In september 2007 he won the Aberdeen heat of the Scottish Comedian of the Year competition and is now in the final in Glasgow - here's hoping he wins!

Although from Montrose, where in-breeding  is notoriously rife, Scott shows no signs of growing a tail.

Here's Scott doing his set for Scottish Comedian of the Year!
