Requirements
Four players in teams of two
A list of subjects or topics (optional)
Approximately 5-7 minutes long
Compere needed: yes
Method
1. The players line up behind the mike and the compere stands at the front. The compere is given the list of subjects before the game begins and uses them throughout the game if they are provided
2. One at a time the topic or subjects are either A: Read from a list made up by the comedians beforehand or B: made up from suggestions from the audience. After a subject has been decided upon a comedian will come up to the microphone and do about 1-2 minutes of material on that subject.
3. After they have finished their set the comedian goes back to their place on stage and the compere reads out or takes another suggestion from the audience. These actions continue until all the comedians on stage have done a set of material.
4. The Compere now asks the audience (possibly by a round of applause) to choose which team won the game based on the quality of the material. After a team is decided on to win the game ends.
Explaining the game to the audience
“The people involved in this game are (insert names). What happens in this game is I will read out the suggestions for comedy topics we have here and these guys have to come up here and do some material about that topic!”
